Massachusetts' Human Resources Division (HRD) is responsible for attracting, hiring and developing people to do purposeful work. We partner with agencies to build and support a high-performing diverse workforce.

HRD in collaboration with the Governor's office is building a public-facing dashboard with information on state employee demographics to be more transparent about gender and race diversity in its workforce.

There have been a critique of the general dashboard aesthetic that requires our attention,  namely, that the dashboard is not as attention-grabbing as it could be.  HRD has asked us to make some design suggestions, which meet accessibility requirements, that address this critique.
